CUSTOMER FOR THIS WEEK - BRINDA REDDY

Brinda Reddy happened to drop by my store while she was window shopping in the mall, she said. But when she visited my store she actually liked the clothes herein and so she bought an ethnic dress material. She also took the Computer Aided Fashion Design Consultancy (CAFD) with me. Hence you can see her picture before the consultancy and also after the consultancy. She had a make over and a hair cut and Voila!......the change is for all to see. Isn't she looking stunningly gorgeous after the make over?

The dress she is wearing is in plain black raw silk and a printed tussor silk dupatta that has some rustic colors on it. She even picked up matching accessories at my store. Though the silhouette looks simple, it is especially made in a manner that it makes the person wearing appear slimmer. Of course the color black also complements her body structure.

Dear Brinda,
As a thanksgiving, La Princesse has a gift coupon for you. Kindly check your email for more details.

Tips on Preserving Expensive Clothes

Wrap the clothes in white cotton or muslin before storing. This will help in preserving the color and the sheen on the dress.
If you do not plan to wear these clothes for a few months, do not iron it before storing. It is better to iron it just before wearing it.
It is a good idea to air the clothes, away from direct sunlight, twice a year.
Never use napthalene balls along with heavy clothes with zari work on it, as they will get tarnished.
Avoid spraying perfume directly on the zari embroidery of such clothes.
If clothes have perspiration smell, dry clean them before storing them away and remember to give them only to a trusted launderer.
If the clothes have got stained while usage, never pack them inside before getting rid of them. They may turn out to be a stubborn stain.
Fabrics should not be over exposed to sunlight.
