PRIVILEGED CUSTOMER FOR THIS WEEK

Rajalaksmi or Raji is a customer whom I get to see at times, whenever I begin to get a thought, that she has forgotten my store. Telepathy seems to work in her case. She is always with two extreme situations - either she needs her clothes in a great hurry or she tends to give her clothes and forget that she has given me for designing. She is a very sweet person and has been with us for almost a decade now.
Raji is seen wearing a pretty green and fuschia combination sari with colorful thread work done on it. The sari is half and half style. The blouse is in a bronze fabric in shimmer brocade. The embroidery on the back of the blouse is designed to match the embroidery on the sari.
Dear Raji - Congratulations! As a thanksgiving, I have a gift coupon for you and the details for same will be emailed to you. Also let me remind you dear, I have some clothes ready for you. Do pick them up soon.

Tips on Preserving Expensive Clothes

Wrap the clothes in white cotton or muslin before storing. This will help in preserving the color and the sheen on the dress.
If you do not plan to wear these clothes for a few months, do not iron it before storing. It is better to iron it just before wearing it.
It is a good idea to air the clothes, away from direct sunlight, twice a year.
Never use napthalene balls along with heavy clothes with zari work on it, as they will get tarnished.
Avoid spraying perfume directly on the zari embroidery of such clothes.
If clothes have perspiration smell, dry clean them before storing them away and remember to give them only to a trusted launderer.
If the clothes have got stained while usage, never pack them inside before getting rid of them. They may turn out to be a stubborn stain.
Fabrics should not be over exposed to sunlight.
