Personalised bridal sneakers by La Princesse — where comfort meets couture

Weddings are all about beautiful details — the outfit, jewellery, makeup and, of course, the shoes. But today’s bride doesn’t have to choose between style and comfort.

Enter personalised bridal sneakers — a fun and fashionable alternative to traditional wedding footwear.

From delicate embroidery and pearls to sequins, lace, initials and even the wedding date, bridal sneakers can be customised to complement the bride’s outfit and personality. They look especially charming with lehengas, gowns and Indo-western ensembles.

And the biggest advantage? Comfort.

After hours of standing, greeting guests and dancing, a pair of comfortable sneakers can be a bride’s best friend. Some brides wear them throughout the celebration, while others change into them after the ceremony when it’s time to hit the dance floor.

I particularly love the idea of turning sneakers into a keepsake.

Personalised with the couple’s names, initials or wedding date, they become a lovely reminder of the special day long after the celebrations are over.

Bridal fashion is evolving, and today it is as much about expressing your individuality as following tradition.

So, would you trade your heels for a pair of beautifully personalised bridal sneakers on your big day?

Tips on Preserving Expensive Clothes

Wrap the clothes in white cotton or muslin before storing. This will help in preserving the color and the sheen on the dress.
If you do not plan to wear these clothes for a few months, do not iron it before storing. It is better to iron it just before wearing it.
It is a good idea to air the clothes, away from direct sunlight, twice a year.
Never use napthalene balls along with heavy clothes with zari work on it, as they will get tarnished.
Avoid spraying perfume directly on the zari embroidery of such clothes.
If clothes have perspiration smell, dry clean them before storing them away and remember to give them only to a trusted launderer.
If the clothes have got stained while usage, never pack them inside before getting rid of them. They may turn out to be a stubborn stain.
Fabrics should not be over exposed to sunlight.
