Niveditha is a tall and pretty girl who is slim and petite. She literally raids my store every fortnight checking out for good bargains. She is lucky most of the time as she definitely finds something for herself on the racks. In the first picture, she is seen wearing a white hand painted dress with a chiffon dupatta that is also painted with floral motifs. The salwar is diagonally striped in cotton that suits her body structure. The second picture shows her wearing a sleeveless kurthi and she wanted an ethnic dupatta matching her dress. The black dupatta is especially custom designed for her so that it matches her outfit. I have created an abstract design in painting for her and she was extremely happy with the effect. She is looking gorgeous in this dress.
As a thanksgiving, La Princesse would like to present her with a gift coupon. Kindly check your email for more details, Niveditha.

CUSTOMER OF THE WEEK - HEMAMALINI

Hema Malini is one of my regular clients who is getting her clothes made with me for over a decade now. As you can see, she follows the classic and traditional style. She is very consistent and conservative in getting her clothes designed. It is a great pleasure to have her as my client especially because she has ample patience when sometimes the delivery dates go haywire due to unexpected holidays taken by workers at my unit.
She is seen wearing a handloom cotton churidhar in a green and blue combination with patches of embroidery on the kurta. In the second picture, she is seen wearing a brocade outfit in black color with antique color weaving done on it.
As a thanksgiving, I would like to present her with a gift - Dear Hema, you may collect your gift from La Princesse and check your email for more details on same.

CUSTOMER OF THE WEEK

Safia and Zainab are sisters. Safia is 5 yrs old and Zainab is 6 years old. Safia is the shy type and is very quite while Zainab is an extrovert. Both are looking very pretty and as you can see Safia has almond shaped eyes. Their mother Asma, who does not look like a mother of five kids, got these lehengas designed with me for her two daughters. Safia is wearing an orange top with green skirt whereas Zainab is seen wearing a fuschia top with a blue skirt. The top fabric is in cotton tissue and the skirt fabric is in nylon tissue. The inner lining for the skirts is in cotton tissue in the color of the top to give a contrasting effect to the lehenga. Both the tops have been embellished with glitter crystal sequins and a mirror work lace. The skirts are embroidered with gold zari work.

As a thanksgiving, I would like to present them with a gift coupon from La Princesse. Asma, you may kindly check your email for more details.

CUSTOMER OF THE WEEK - CHRISTINA

Christina is a regular client of La Princesse. She is full of life and is always seen bubbling with joy and looking forward to sharing information. She is one classy client who has a fetish for footwear. She always has this craving to match her footwear with her dress. Once I made a raw silk dress for her with beautiful embroidery and that very same day, she went out shopping for her matching footwear. She was so excited that she got a similar embroidery footwear with the same color combination. She is, most of the time, lucky to get such matching footwear or may be, it is her will power working in her favor that she  always manages to find something similar. She is able to carry any dress with a wonderful attitude.

In the first picture, she is seen wearing a white pure georgette dress worked with Parsi embroidery and Pakistani lace. In the next picture, she is seen wearing a light orange peach netted and embroidered set with a netted dupatta. She enjoys dressing up and I enjoy giving her a variety of looks with her clothes.

As a thanksgiving, I would like to present you with a special discount of 20% on the fabrics purchased in my store in your next billing. This will be valid up to 31st January. Kindly redeem it within the validity period. Details for same will be posted to your email id.

Tips on Preserving Expensive Clothes

Wrap the clothes in white cotton or muslin before storing. This will help in preserving the color and the sheen on the dress.
If you do not plan to wear these clothes for a few months, do not iron it before storing. It is better to iron it just before wearing it.
It is a good idea to air the clothes, away from direct sunlight, twice a year.
Never use napthalene balls along with heavy clothes with zari work on it, as they will get tarnished.
Avoid spraying perfume directly on the zari embroidery of such clothes.
If clothes have perspiration smell, dry clean them before storing them away and remember to give them only to a trusted launderer.
If the clothes have got stained while usage, never pack them inside before getting rid of them. They may turn out to be a stubborn stain.
Fabrics should not be over exposed to sunlight.
